(Updated 30 October) Age of Heroes Known Issues

While it has caused great harm in its inception, I would agree. Its pretty cool to see a few workers / what ever ya dress em as, walking/strutting about. Now we need a few different sleep emotes, different sit poses, a couple random emotes for each bench would be hot. Oh and could thralls say hi once in awhile as we pass them in our forts. lol

Would be nice to hear if the door disable is even a possibility. Andy, You have a way to ask about such an attraction?

Thanks for all You do Andy! But You know, even if the only things you can say daily are platitudes, we are hopefuls, Thats fair sounding ideas, or questions about the weather. You and yours are, our only connection to those that know ( even if they wont tell you ). While there are those that will pick at every little thing ya mention, there are a significant number more, that are not as vocal that do feel better, when you speak :slight_smile: …

The well makes a good water cooler. I caught 2 of my thralls hanging out at my well getting some drinks in and eyeing each other awkwardly.

I knew on Oct 17 Heroes would have been released.
So I did a backup of my Single Player save and gave a nice good-bye to the game for a planned time of at least 1 month, waiting for both the 100%-sure bugs that would have sprung out and the various mods I have to be solved and updated.

Honestly I would consider everybody to act that way: freeze your game, back up your Single/Servers game saves and wait. Have patience.

I know this is mainly a blasphemy for everyone of us having payed a lot for the main game, all the DLCs and may be even purchased some of the Bazaar things. Even more for those playing on servers with others, not to mention bloggers and youtubers focusing on the game, that last weeks are doing the quality tests themselves.

As it is now though Living Settlements was freezed by Devs themselves on public servers: means it doesn’t work and, even worse, breaks some game play.

Now we are waiting for a patch that within 1 week most likely will provide a solution to SOME of those bugs. I honestly hope they will mind also to correct the Barkeepers’ disappearance as for what I have seen it’s a matter of correcting just a couple of lines of code.

( About this last thing: i know there COULD be a solution editing your own file adding a “quary” to correct what the Devs fully missed to do themselves but: a) I don’t even know what a “quary” is, not to mention how to correct a code line; b) this is something Devs should provide themselves as, like somebody else said: “you broke it, you fix it” and because I already payed enough for this to happen. )

Also I would rellay love to see something useful added to the game like: a way to get rid of a follower you have no use for or you don’t need anylonger.

And…I was just chatting with a friend having an “IMPROVED TANNER’S TABLE” as I have. He tells me that it’s manned by his Armorer (who has their proper bench aside) and not his Tanner anymore, who is wondering elsewhere. As I have an Improved Tanner’s Table as well, I hope my Tanner will keep doing their job there and not seeing my Armorer (who would not even have the right expertise to use that bench) minding what it’s not theirs.
You know you Devs did implemented the Improved Tanner’s Table as well right? Or just forgot about it? And now we could have random crafters manning them?

Let’s wait and see… November 17 I will dare to be back in the game HOPING it would be playable again, without major losses or wasting time in rebuilding all my crafters and bartenders.

The game already has the ability to remove a follower thralls.

Any news when shoul we expect the leaving Thralls Issue?

It breaks gameplay totally. But also it would be great management mechanics like motivate Thralls to stay. Like slavery manager simulator.

And yet, its very strange behavior now and I need some info when my Thralls return to base. I can catch some of them in the middle of the map, sure, but some of them are in nowhere. I can find them or remove them.

Thank you all for the welcome, I was around here for some time already but never posted something so far.
Anyway… thank you also for the definition of “query”, now I can say I know what that thing is.
If anybody has questions about biochemistry I can repay the help but about messing with a game’s file code I am like a rabbit in the middle of the ocean able to swim like a rock.
Trying to apply whatever change should be needed there will ask me perhaps 1 hour if not more, while I’m pretty confident any Dev can do the thing in less then 1 minute.
So… let everybody do their own job and provide results with their own work.

the workers who going missing is ending upp in the bottom right corner outside the map after some time or hour they will die of poisoned

You could always place an armorer at the tanner´s table.
In fact i did that often early game since he provided the stitch recipe, where you could make thick hide from hide and twine.
The tanner on the other hand gives you the more useless recipe to make silk out of grubs.
So even it´s named tanners table, i usually had an armorer in there before this age.

There’s salt in blood - and Conan Exiles spills a lot of that (my pets have not yet forgiven the language used when A0H landed originally) :slight_smile:
Key things: Funcom have released today’s patch and may very well be following it with a hotfix or two. The Living Thralls system looks nice when you look at how the Tavern system worked, especially on servers where players had multiple tavern bars put down and therefore lots of thralls walking about, etc (certainly makes it interesting when player-raiders walk about too - but that’s another thing).

Just downloaded Nov 4 patch. Wow. I think they are actually trying to kill this game - destroyed fundamental content, including their journey 2.0, for what - cosmetics? Piffle.

Just DLed the latest. Server needed to update as well. DL took as long as the new age to DL, then once server was restarted it hung at 35% when starting. Wont try to start our server for a couple days after seeing this. GL all.

Sorry for the late reply but you will be able to toggle doors for Living Settlement use in a future update.
