Watch out for the kind of scammers that text you on Playstation Xbox or PC via party chat and text chat. These people will ask you if you want to join their clan to quote give you the stuff so you can leave the clan after you take everything and the thing is after you do all that then players will be able to report you for taking their stuff and potentially get you banned I have an example image so I can show somewhat what it looks like when these scammers try to do something like this.
I did the same thing last year, so it’s not necessarily a scam. I’ve joined some random clan (happens to be from my country) and transfer all my stuff, 100% legit. Besides I don’t think you can count on reporting anyone, since most (if not all) reports are ignored by FC or that company they hired to manage them.

Besides, this wouldn’t get actioned.
My advice is that if someone wants to get rid of their stuff there’s other, less risky ways of doing it.
But they’re right based on the screenshot, you add them and then kick immediately. You retain ownership of all followers, buildings and storage. Then they can be on their way.
Never accept an invite into a clan so they can “give you stuff”, that’s playing you for a fool.

Cant get mad when you get outplayed by strangers. We did this years ago back in Early Access to some clans.
Gave away a couple of bases on pvp servers that way myself so I’ll echo that it’s not necessarily a scam. But as with all things in online games be aware there are some people who will @#$& you over any way they can.
There was a time in Age of Conan when random clan invites out of the blue was a thing. Normally I’d decline but one hit me once just as I was expecting a group invite and I clicked Accept before I realized it was a clan invite. Almost insta left but noticed they had a T3 city with practically everything. Figured I’d at least look at that as I had never had access to one. Long story short I ended up being the last member of that clan still playing so basically I inherited a T3 city without lifting a finger to make it happen.
Eh. Now I’m wanting to log in and see if it’s still there. Been a few years.
