Inventory handling is still completely broken. Here are my steps to fix it 100% for a more or less brief period before it breaks again:
- switch around once through all sorting options, ending with “no sorting”
- move one item of your inventory to an empty inventory slot (most of the time you will notice a reshuffling of your inventory as you do this)
- repeat this (this time this should work as expected)
- If you want to be really sure inventory is back in a working state try split a stack (works not if broken) or drop an item and look at the loot bag if it’s the item you selected to drop
- repeat all of the above if problem not solved, for me it works almost every time the first try and really every time the second.
