This game pretty much looks like its done
The lack of communication is screaming that they are done.

Amd yes i think funcom and the producer lied to us again…

Forum activity is on its ever lowest, population on my official server is at its lowest , people coming in to refresh and leave , many places decayed already.

The settlement system was the final nail on the coffin.

The way CE has been handled proved us that they dont care about the “community”

Now they are not going to see a dime from me ever again.

It is not as bad as the last two updates to the Age of War. :woman_shrugging: Oh do not misunderstand, it is NOT GOOD, but those last two updates, especially AoW C4, was definitely WORSE!

So, I guess you are brand new then? Other wise this is par for the course. Nothing new to see here. Move along.

Yes and no, the change is that they stopped promising to improve communication

It used to be good but FC has screwed it up over the past few years by implementing changes nobody wanted and not fixing the bugs that came with those changes properly. As for future ages the game is officially in maintenance mode so I don’t see any more ages happening. FC is a group of scavengers that only develops games then drop them to move on to the next. Take CE for instance they majority bailed to work on Dune because FC doesn’t have the money hire developers to properly develop multiple games at the same time. Eventually Funcom will fade away just like Atari and Codemasters. It’s what happens when they can’t properly evolve as a game designer which is why the company was sold.

I don’t have to even scroll back up to see what Oduba said to know you are wrong. Yes, I have argued with them enough to trust them.

Not it isn’t, lie some more. Now I wont argue that by funcom, the next update is supposed to be a lot of maintenance as in bug fixes, and not so much content; if anything I’d expect another companion.

The majority of us have been asking for the age of bug fixes since the age of sorcery ch2. Supposedly that is what we are getting.

My bet is on Thursday the 20th.

Not saying you are far wrong, funcom does have a reputation about being all in on a game the first few months, start to slow down, get distracted by the next project, then slow development till mothballed. Every time you log in you see the list of games they run but have long been out of development.

And the one common thread through out is funcoms lacking in any but the least amount of communication with the player base that is PAYING THEIR BILLS, putting food in their bellies, and clothes on their kids.

For one you named 2, billion dollar leaders of the industry in their time. funcom wishes they could do as well.
But developers come and go about as fast as clothing styles. It’s the nature of the industry. funcom has had a pretty long run compared to many.

So you pirated the game? :thinking: Simple fact is at one point in time YOU GAVE THEM MONEY. So yes, you most assuredly did. Refuse to admit reality all you want but everyone here knows that you did.

I for example have never spent a single cent in the BLB, but I still paid for the game itself and I paid for the DLC’s back when they were still a thing. I do not shy away from the fact that I have given Funcom money. I do not deny reality. You on the other hand do not seem to grasp what reality even is.

What I don’t get is that you can’t grasp the clearly laid out fact that he’s saying the money tap is cut off. Nobody is denying funcom already has our money - they just aren’t going to get MORE of it.

Please don’t lessen yourself by being willfully obtuse.
