What is the newest Siptah PvE server?

My wife and I have decided to leave our existing server and restart on a new Official Siptah server. We would like to play on the most undeveloped, or newest server possible. Is there a way to determine which are the newest official servers added? The “Age” field in the in-game server browser seems to have nonsensical values so I don’t think we can rely on that. Is there a list somewhere, or does anyone know offhand which are the most recently added Siptah PvE servers in the US?

Thanks

The age field for private servers can be wonky. As I understand it there’s specific things that must be done and/or they’re bugged.

But since you’re looking for Official servers, the age is in days active with no wipe and accurate. Most were opened at the same time.

So it won’t have an impact on determining which servers are busy.

The fact is that every single Official server has some population on it. Whether it be 1 person who logs in once per week to refresh their base or hundreds of despawned bodies. If not thousands.

To my knowledge there are no lists and if there are it would be personal ones.

Unfortunately the only way to find out is to make a character on servers that you see low population on and explore it. Do it during primetime for gaming.

I would have suggested websites such as Battlemetrics but I believe the servers are no longer being updated on there.

What platform are you using?

Thanks, KikiGirl, yea Battlemetrics says on their site that they are no longer monitoring servers. I will take your advice and check out each server manually.

@Rust, we’re on PC Steam.

When you spawn open up your map. Large amount of altars is a good indication of overbuilding.

Ahh, great tip, that definitely makes it easier to tell.

We found a Siptah server and we’re off to the races again. Doesn’t look too built up.

I had a thought that maybe the servers are numbered consecutively, so that 6442 was made after 6158, and so on. But I’ve no idea if there’s any truth to that.

There are 9 IOS official servers for PvE - im on all of them.

Sparsely populated as most folks dont have the dlc map- which is nice.

Age of them is 1200+ days running

Official servers are a horrible experience, if you are fully committed to playing on one I wish you luck. If you want to give an unofficial server a try we recently added a second dedicated server for the Siptah map, and it’s linked together with our Exiled Lands map and you can travel freely between the two through the use of a portal on each map. Both our EL and Siptah maps run on a dedicated server using i9’s and 64gb of memory. Server FPS never drops below 60. We are pve-c though and have regular combat hours, but still probably the best option available to you. If you’re interested though the dc info for Siptah is 104.128.62.200:7777 EL is 104.128.58.121:7777

Honestly, you’re more likely to get players without throwing shade on Official Servers.

As a player I am less likely to join your private server, knowing that you publicly bash Official Servers.

Try recruiting without bashing.

Official servers are a bad experience, that’s certainly my experience, and also the general consensus in the community. If you’re sensitive to the point that stating that hurts you’re feelings you’re probably not the demographic we’re looking for anyway since we do have PvP turned on from 5:30 to 11:00 PM seven days a week. Likely wouldn’t be a good fit regardless. Also, while I always welcome growth, we have a stable core community and our numbers are fine, so your remarks don’t really have the effect you intended. I was more or less just welcoming the OP. My wife and I host our server, so we always enjoy getting other couples who play.

I’m a PvE player and the subject of this thread is about Official PvE Siptah Servers.

I came here to comment about PvE Official Servers.

You’re here bashing “Official Servers”, while promoting a PvP server. Saying that you have had a bad experience.

You did read the title before posting, correct?

It sounds more like you came here to bitch at me :D, in any case, It is a PvE-C server… I never said building damage was on. If you came here to post about the “newest Siptah [official] PvE Server,” your premise is quite off since there are no ‘new’ official PvE servers. To the best of my knowledge, there aren’t even any unofficial PvE (minus the -C) servers currently. There may be some in the roleplay community that I’m unaware of, but that doesn’t seem likely to be what the OP is looking for, regardless since there are no official roleplay server either.

The intention of my post wasn’t to “bash official servers”; it was to offer a solution to the original post. I said that official servers are a horrible experience, which, in addition to being my opinion after 4000 hours of playtime that I’m entitled to, also seems to be the general consensus among the community and common knowledge. So, I was offering someone who is likely newer to the game a word of caution as well as proposing a solution.

It is well known that official servers lag horribly, are filled with people cheating, and are subject to awful moderation policies. Consequently, players often experience their bases being completely wiped out, accompanied by a ban message for building in an unspecified restricted area, even though there are no listed restricted areas. While this hasn’t happened to me personally, I hear stories about it nearly every day. And that’s not even mentioning the topic of report meta.

It’s not even clear to me whose ass you think you’re kissing here. Funcom staff doesn’t read these forums, and even if they did, I certainly don’t know what you think you would get out of your gratuitous ass-kissing. That aside, Funcom doesn’t even care if people play on official or private servers; to them, it’s all the same. People are playing their game and spending money regardless. That’s common sense, but if you don’t believe it, it should be evident in their catering to the RP community (that only exists on private servers) in every update. Hell, Funcom would probably be happy to close down some more of their junk G-Portal servers and save some money if more people played on private servers.

Did you?

"What is the newest Siptah PvE server?"

The title aside, I realize of course he did mention ‘new official Siptah servers’ in the comments (not in the title). And since what he’s looking for doesn’t exist, my response is justified since it offers a potential solution to his request which was unsolvable.

PvP Official Servers are exactly as you described.

What bothers me about your post is that you’re grouping the PvE community into that “general consensus” and you couldn’t be further from the truth.

The PvE Official Community is very strong. As a player of Siptah PvE Official servers, your comments hold no weight.

Next time you want to advertise your PvP/PvE-C private servers, please do it without bashing the PvE Community.

Good luck Exile!
