What is your favorite ground killer

, ,

I find myself often times knocking out large groups of thralls when thrall hunting. Then I end up with piles of knocked out enemies.

I’m wonder what weapon type other players use in this situation to kill KOed thralls

It’s more of a question about general type of weapon than it is about specific weapons within the categories

I know gas orbs are good for this, but am looking for something not limited by needing to carry ammo

Spear with poison, it easy to control the aim and just give the unconscious thrall a few stab their hp run out quick.

I use gas arrows shot one on ground and run circle around it as enemy will run through it if you fast and do it right
Also 1 orb make 5 or 10 arrows with better range and accurate aim thus better choice

Gaseous orbs.
Love when multiple enemies just explode at the same time and some of them grunts, moans or shouts while unconcious.

Edit: oh I see you mentioned you don’t want to carry them. I understand they weight a LOT.

Order your thrall “guard me” and following distance at least 20 meters.
Use best a lvl 20 thrall, it is going to receive a lot of damage.
Keep poisoning weapons on you and the best possible truncheon for you thrall and you.
Equip a really good piece of heavy armor and at least 2 vitality perks, the less is 2 for this procedure.
4 perks in strength, you are the executioner now, you must deal a serious point of damage, plus hit harder from a thrall when you use truncheon.

Go to a camp, check one by one every single thrall as fast as you can but not hasty. Keep your territory, do not allow many agros, you need them to come less possible so you control your fights. Sometimes agro has delay, do not bite the trap, wait they will come. If your thrall accidentally knock down an npc you don’t need, 3 light attacks with poisoning weapon maybe enough, kill - collect - farm with patience, but as a hero

I like the greatsword’s overhead chop move to finish off sleeping beauties. It’s a pretty worthless move in combat, anyway.

It is soooooo satisfying to kill a boss with a couple of hitpoints remaining with it tho’.

(Also I don’t know if somebody else experienced this too, but it takes stamina at the start of the move right? When you want to dodge after it, you won’t dodge but the stamina lowers again. So be careful with that!)
