What it means Love in trailer?

Conan says after getting out of the cross to live and love.
How will this happen in the game?

I would like to note that my question is not intended to include pornographic content in the game, but if it has been rated Pegi 18, similar to the Witcher, Gothic and Dragon Age series, there was a chance for romance.

Could it be possible for this feature to create your own Thralls? and would they later inherit the character’s knowledge of their abilities?

I think that this is just a bit of poetry related to potential social interactions in game with other players. I do not believe that there are any mechanics in the game to have romance other than chat and emotes with players. Some mods take it a bit further.

Kiss and hug emotes? =D We has bear hug already!

It’s a reference to something Conan says to Bêlit in Queen of the Black Coast. That’s it.

Edit - Figured I’d post the excerpt (and because it’s probably one of my favorite stories)

“Let teachers and priests and philosophers brood over questions of reality and illusion. I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me. I live, I burn with life, I love, I slay, and am content.”

This is a great quote and shows how much Howard really is putting forth an existentialist response to the absurdity of life. Much more of Conan is like this. On another thread there was discussion that choosing Crom as your god should give you bonuses, but the whole point Howard was trying to make with Crom is that you cannot put your faith in some god to save you. You have to take your fate into your own hands and wring what ever meaning you can out of life by how you live it.

Howard was writing in the period between the First World War and the second. This era was dominated by the rise of communism and fascism in Europe, the Great Depression, and the perceived failure of civilization’s tradition institutions like religion. In many ways, Howard’s Hyborian Age reflected the decay of civilization at the hands of decadence and its descent into barbarism that were less an exposition of ancient history and more a reflection of what the modern world looked like in the 1930’s.

That excerpt is beautiful. I think especially gamers can relate to that. It’s especially poetic and relevant to playing Conan Exiles itself.

I think this quote aught to be featured in the loading screen. Very inspirational.
