Greetings!
I started to play only a couple of weeks ago.
This is my second character on official servers and the highest level so far (37).
I just wonder what to do on this game.
I’ve been thrilled capturing pets and thralls, building a base and getting ready for a purge, and trying to complete the journal.
Is that enough to know what to do?
I mean, I’ve read Conan is around, haven’t met him yet. But do we get quests to get to know dungeons and such?
Is playing not enough to cover everything the game has to offer?
I feel I’m missing everything, just not sure if I need to Google and YouTube for it or the game will lead me to all content.
Hello fellow Exile !
If you follow the journal you will have some hints in it about the underlying quest and all the Lore surrounding it
But you have time for that, as some parts involve higher level content.
Keep on exploring, filling up the journal and you’ll grab enough XP !
On PvP/Conflict servers main thing is basically surviving against others. Even if you are an alpha you are still surviving because you never know who’s going to come up to be the next champion. After that it basically comes down to building and farming.

Building. If you don’t like to design and build homes for yourself you’re going to run out of stuff to do pretty quickly. This is a very time consuming and almost never ending process. You not only want to expand but you may want to redesign your home.

Farming: You got thralls and pets to farm, the best kind. I rotate farming for thralls at major cities, but like to hangout near the Mound because I might catch some meteor showers and get those precious Star Metal Ores. If you want lasers shooting into the sky you also need to farm specifically for archpriests. Then there’s weapons and armors. You can farm world bosses but you will find yourself farming Unnamed City a lot for legendary stuff. Of course you also need to farm basic stuff such as Rock, Fiber, etc. Rare resources are spread all over the world so you need to spread out in strategic locations with outposts and/or map rooms. All of that of course takes more maintenance and resources.
There’s also exploration. I would say it’s a limited aspect compared to building and farming because we have Google to tell us where everything is in advance. Without it we’d need to explore a WHOLE lot more, but the joy of exploration is mostly taken away by technology. Nevertheless we have dungeons to explore, recipes and emotes to learn, and story to progress. There’s basically one chain of quest to do really but it does take you all over the world and make you fight the main bosses.
Great!
Thanks so much to both of you for the info
