Exectly what i asked some months ago, the only reason i see is to support the game. But if they continue with this ban policy punishing long term players, and buggy updates, and some bugs never getting fixed like lossing your dragging thrall when teleport (think it could work properly with tranp stone, but tadahhh same problem) it will let us with no reason to buy anything.
The same can be said for DLC’s then. What’s the point if you can just do it yourselves? But that mentality will make this game a console game very quickly.
Most players play on console from I understand.
And many players are on official servers or unmodded private servers/single player.

Mods cant be used on official servers.
And if you dont play on officials its a non issue.
yes but it get bugged when you teleport, and any wrong move they are lost on limbo
Well, you are right, I am very carefull with them after I teleport, my WoP is very close to my portal
in fact they get lost in limbo very few of the times , the real thing is they stay invisible but are there , if you remember exactly where you “broke the chain” , you can go out of render distance and come back and 80 % of the time doing so will make it reapear uncouncious where you broke the link but yeah 20 % of the time you won’t be able to find it ( stayed invisible or despawned hard to tell what really happened when you don’t find it back )
edit : but this doesn’t work in solo for example where getting out of render distance reset/despawns the npcs
I mean, if FC ever dropped support for the PC version to push console…that’d pretty much be the red flag to discontinue support entirely, for all their products.
A company doing a kneejerk reaction like that, because people prefer free mods to their overpriced stuff, or disabling mod support, this late into the game’s life?
Yeah, I’d walk away from FC and not trust anything they ever put out again. There would be no redemption, because you could never trust them not to pull a crazy stunt like that with any future product.
