It has been dumbed down to tic tac toe level with constant roll spam, and now with the latest update you can even readjust sprint attacks as you dash, making outmaneuvering and baiting that much more irrelevant than roll spam already made them.
Why? Who is this good for? PvE is basic enough as is and still dominated by thralls if one aims for efficiency, and even that could’ve likely been improved almost as much without destroying pvp.
Rolling thrust, what with rolls usually costing less stamina than plenty of attacks on top of a huge penetration boost doesn’t help either, making what is already in a poor state just miserable.
Why? Why put work into destroying something? Was PvE really improved so much by these changes it was worth taking so much depth from pvp over?
I mean this in a genuine manner, perhaps people that play mostly on PvE servers can enlighten me why rolling thrust spam makes PvE so much better. To me it’s just a mystery so much work was put into making an aspect of the game so much worse.
