When are god's gonna be activated again?

It’s been a while since avatars have been deactivated on official servers. Can you, @Hugo, @Ignasi or anyone else, tell me, when they’re gonna back?

As we’ve specified previously, they’re going to be enabled once the exploits abusing them have been fixed and we’ll announce it with some time in advance.

Hopefully they wont enable gods again. Most Players i did talk with agree that the disabling of Gods brings much more fun with it. Cause they are just OP

But Gods on PVP were the only way to control overbuilding. Right now, servers are growing in structures faster than can be destroyed via raiding and purges. As bad as the duping was, Gods were one way for smaller clans, even a solo, to put a dent in hoarded OG clans overbuilds. Now, unless you mount a full fledged war and bring in alliances, no one will hit the big clans.

As someone who’s a loner, or hangs in small groups, I kinda support the idea of the avatars. Makes being a jerk to the little guy a dangerous proposition.

I mean, I guess offline raiding is a thing, so you can always be that jerk. If thrall archers could actually shoot off walls, and had range/senses as keen as players so that they couldn’t get easily sniped… this would be good.

Same here. I just joined 3170 today and saw the alpha’s massive base. It’s nearly 4 of these square tiles big. If you would try to foundation wipe this with bombs you would probably need about 30-40k. With gods you could just use Mitra, Yog or Derketo to get rid of all the foundations.
