According to the event timer on the Funcom Event page, it ended yesterday 23:00 my time.
The timer in the Steam Event Announcement says it ends today at 16:00 my time, so 7 minutes ago.
Yet the event is still running, I can still deliver Sorcerers. Why?
When can I be sure that my ranking is save and go back to playing regularly again?
maybe it will be over by tomorrow after server restart.

Yeah agree. If it’s just an event for fun, I wouldn’t care. But then having different times posted on different platforms and none of them being correct, you wonder how little they actually care.
I for myself, don’t want to hear the drums of the summoning place anymore for at least a year 
Seriously, this has become an Internet Chore and we are quickly getting board with the Leaderboard.
It would be one thing if there was not a ‘prize’ attached to the hunting and you can do it at your leisure.
It would be nice to build and do other things. Reminds me of the grind of BattlePass.

Hey it’s 3 easy skulls / captures (joking)! But seriously though it is a chore to stay at the top of leader board now, I’m just hoping its something like 6pm EST, if not its going into the 1st when the office shuts it down manually I’m guessing 
knowing that you can craft/farm the 1st place prize easily, why are players taking this event leaderboard seriously?
From what I read, Building Set yet to be released are at play as well.
Dunno - competitive nature I guess - wish I hadn’t now tbh. Also read somewhere about a selectable T4 thrall?
I only started on second day, missed first one, and had a not so nice guy from our server leading on both factions. I only wanted to see how much I’d have to farm to get to #5.
So I was farming away and got on fifth relatively quick. Was in a good mood, so I kept going. Fourth. Third. To get to second was kind of a chore already, but made it.
Then the #1 came online and just took over the spot where I was farming.
No Hi, no communication at all, just took the spot. At that point my goal was clear, I’ll farm my backside off to make sure he wont win.
Now he’s on place 2 on both factions and I am somewhat happy.
Positive side effect, I’ll never have to farm gold, silver or alchemic base ever again 
I got a 48 slot chest full with legendary clubs, one full with bindings, one with the bow and one with the 2h hammer. And I still got 3 chests full of Obulus.
Even used the fact that today the event was still going, to get the other factions armor blueprints and a couple of the legendary sorc staffs. ^^
That happens sometimes when we play The Game.
Looks like it ended, got the reward in my inventory today.
The T4 thrall, in my case at least, was just another fighter thrall, ah well, not complaining.
