Hello,

We recently started playing on Darfari server.Specifically crom solo, duo, trio.

Donated 50 euros to catch up quickly as they sell shieldwrights, bowmakers, etc… and we were late into the wipe.

The cost of a shieldwright (8000 coins),depending on how much you donate is with the minimum donation (5 euros gets you 5500 coins). So 1 shieldwright will cost you almost 10 euros.(Let that sink in for a second.“Conan Exiles” the game costs 40 euros and they are selling shieldwrights for 10 euro a pop.)

Let me make this very clear:You donate/pay to get ingame items that can be removed at any time for any reason deemed justified by the admin and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

Little did we know we would end up against players who had gotten Siptah weapons as a reward for winning events organized by the admins.

Everyone knows Siptah weapons are OP.

Since the only way to get these weapons was trough events. We either had to wait to participate in an event .Where the players who won siptah weapons in the past would show up with these weapons to compete for the new batch of weapons beeing handed out.
Or find the players on the map and get lucky in killing them to steal the weapons to become competitive.
None of it worked ofc… We all have seen what happens if you give Siptah weapons and gear to a select few on official servers.

After getting lag switched and hacked on official we went to private servers to find out we are beeing fkd out of our money by admins who hand out OP weapons.
After explaining all this.I have a few questions for you all.

Why cant we buy shielwrights, bowmakers, etc… with ingame gold coins like we can buy alchemists and fighters in buccaneer bay?

Make gold coins available in the bazaar for purchase and make every single resource available in a shop on the map.
Because right now,i got scammed out of my 50 euro “donation” while this money could have easily gone to you.

Why dont we have official solo, duo, trio servers?
People really dont want to fight against admin and friends on private servers but because there is no alternative. Its the better choice out of the only 2 options available.

Humain raid times or at least a warning system?
Imagine a game where you have to be online +30hrs a week and check the event log every 5min because there is no ingame or outgame warning system implemented to warn a player when his base is getting raided?

Imagine beeing in a big clan and get set on guard duty for 6hrs on a weekday.Where the only thing you are allowed/able to do is hold a repair hammer in base and check the event log every 3 to 5 min.

Yes, thats conan exiles for ya.

So plz.At least do a test for 6 months with official solo, duo, trio servers and sue these fkn bastards for selling your ingame assests at insane prices.

Here is their discord btw.So anyone who reads this can go scream at them a little bit. DARFARI & CROM | PVP Server

Thank You.

Technically, it’s illegal to sell admin spawned stuff for real money.

You can always ask for donations, but as soon as you give something in return, it’s a purchase and this is not quite legal.

It gets even worse. The bot handeling these transactions has a build in black jack dealer. So you can gamble your donation money away even faster.

I have played on many private servers, but not specifically pvp servers. This is absolutely disgusting in my view, and as pointed out, if they are directly selling admin spawned items you should report them.

Im hoping funcom can see the bigger picture here.

If they make official solo, duo, trio servers. With a currency that can be farmed by playing the game and also bought by casuals in the bazaar to have a couple of days of fun without having to farm for days.

These servers will lose grip on the community instantly.
People just want a fair fight.

This means, equal numbers in clans and regardless of how much time you have.
The ability to be competitive.

This is one of the many reasons I do not play on private servers. I shouldn’t be at odds with boosted players. Whether it be monetarily or via favouritism.

But we did have the ability to buy thralls at the Khitan merchants for a time. I didn’t like it personally because it made things too easy.

The problems with Officials are many that you’ve listed; there’s little balance between entrenched alphas and new players other than changing your play style.

I saw the comments in another post that is similar; you can take down a server as a solo but need to change your outlook entirely. It’s common to think: farm, build, get your gear and explosives and everything will be fine. It isn’t anymore.

Yeah but are officials any different? Instead of being bosted by paid items they are boosted by hacks and an utter lack of moderation, or even a willingness to acknowledge / attempt to address the issue. Either rate you, as a new player, are at a massive disadvantage. However, I do agree that the only way to improve / progress is to observe, learn, and adapt. Do not expect to instantly dominate because you were king turd on some other game, learn this game and adapt to it and if need be go back to that old adage. “If you can’t beat them, join them.” You never know, you may just learn a lot from them. :woman_shrugging:

No, it’s not.

There is a sh*ton of things wrong with Conan, but you are describing a self imposed play situation.

Spending money to play on a server is a choice, not a requirement. Your situation is akin to moving into a community with clearly stated rules and then complaining about the rules.

It has nothing to do with the broken ass game and everything to do with you choosing to engage with an incompatible community and getting upset they won’t change to suit your demands.

Zero sympathy.

I would demand the time back it took to read and respond to your screed, but it was my choice to do so and demanding recompense would be whining.

This. There is very few private servers that do this activity, and the ones that do, stand out. If advantages are purchasable, that fact will be self evident even before you create a character.

When you make a character on a FC server you have no clue who is hacking, when they are hacking, and if you’re losing a fight because they boosted themselves through hacks or through legitimate play. The only time it becomes evident, is when they over do it.

On private servers with active moderation, cheaters can be found and banned before they enact any issues. Players can play knowing full well that the other players they interact with are legit. On FC servers you have to wait till they get bold, and then its a dice roll on whether or not your report on them will return any result.

The choice I had in this regard was simple:

  1. Play with hackers and cheaters.
  2. Read rules and policies of a potential server and maybe have to pick another if I don’t like how they do it.

The choice was pretty simple for me.

Another thing to consider. FC servers are full of cheaters and hackers because where else are they going to play? The can only exist on undermoderated servers. FC servers are FOR hackers and cheaters, as well as the useful idiots that get to play victim for them.

You guys dream so much about PvP , PvP never Will be fixed in oficials If you like PvP you shall search a “GOOD” know private with active adms.

Funcom cant fix a EASY Thrall pot , UI , Thrall fall damage problem How did you think They Will fix and REALLY Will make a complex pvp world Work?

Also SINCE They LAUNCH of DUNE all attention Will Go to the New game.

We never Will have active adms in Conan or oficial help from funcom you guys have 2 chooses play the broken PvP or search another game.

“Where are we suppsed to play to get a fair fight?”

PVP is not fair. By definition.

I remember a time when hackers were so few and only appeared situationally. They were usually hired to take on exploiters either by virtue or revenge…

So you never really had to worry that much about them as long as you played fair or stayed out of the huge clan wars. If you saw them, don’t say anything, don’t fight them, let them kill you if they feel like it and kept your mouth shut.

About the only exception were clans that enjoyed live viewers; but they were easy to combat because they sucked at the game for the most part - these weren’t associated with the “regular” hackers. You could get passed the speed hacking easily and remove them from a server.

It was largely a small issue for the majority. But then again, this was a time when servers had higher populations and much variety in players; you weren’t fighting the same people every playthrough. Sure there was still bad blood.

If you remove the hacking element as it is now it’s a different game. Entrenched alphas would still be a thing but you wouldn’t have to watch your loot and back constantly in fear of those anomalies. So many have left the game entirely because of the hacking, it’s the biggest reason. The second is the ToC; my gosh what a tragedy. Then it’s game mechanics.

For those who are fresh going into PVP being raided your first night is almost like a right of passage. If you can’t deal with it perhaps you weren’t meant to be on PVP.

If it was noted in their rules .That fighting against OP siptah weapons is a possibility.I could agree.

But its not.We played for almost 2 weeks and only after getting killed 7 times in a row by a player wielding a siptah hammer. We started asking questions to find out he won that hammer during an event.
We participated in a event .But nothing was ever mentioned about the ability to win siptah weapons. We all have seen what happened with the server transfers and the fallout of it afterwards.
Where clans bodyvaulted on alt accounts full inventories of siptah weapons and gear.
More then a year after the server transfer was disabled, there were still clans destroying entire servers in a matter of days with this OP gear.
I understand your frustration, beeing a fanboy and not have a single valid argument to counter this obvious abuse.

That’s sweet. Stupid, wrong, childish, but sweet.

I know you want to be insulting, but it just comes across as pathetic.

But I have a solution. Since nothing you say is of value, I can use the forums ignore feature.

You have the day you deserve.

Someone hit a nerve here…
