Yeah stable connection is not what I mean here. Your connection might be stable, but It’s the download speed, which in turn affects your ping to server. If your server ping is 9999, then you have a traffic issue. Think of it like this: you’re on a four lane highway, but you are only driving 60km per hour because there are hundreds of cars on the road all changing lanes and hitting their brakes. The flow of traffic is really bad. Instead, change highways so that you are the only car on the road, you can drive 100km per hour free as you please.

Switching Internet channels will help with your server ping. I’ve gotten my ping down to only 50 by selecting an internet channel that has no traffic.

I have been noticing the PS servers I am on are popping down and back up as well. Fingers crossed they are working on fixes.

There have been rolling restarts on most official servers in order to temporarily work around an issue causing folks to become unable to corrupt their stats (or end up getting reset).

We attempted this earlier in the day, but the fix did not propagate. We identified the cause internally and gave it another go somewhat recently.

There is also a known issue causing MS Game Pass players to see invalid servers, which is a much more involved issue that server restarts won’t fix. Hopefully it’s not that. :stuck_out_tongue:

yea all i can see is the test servers and maybe 2 open ones? but the ping is insane. all the official servers are in the invalid server list for me. just hopping they come back soon!

and wifi connection shouldnt be an issue. it all happened after the update

I had missed earlier when you said you’re on Game Pass. Sadly, that is likely the cause of what you’re describing, as there may be a version mismatch preventing you from seeing valid servers.

This is an issue we cannot resolve with simple server restarts and will likely require waiting until a patch can be published or if you can coax the Xbox patching system to give you an update. It’s a fickle beast.

We are working on a patch to fix emergent issues found in 3.0, but I currently don’t have details on exactly when it’ll drop. Keep an eye here or on our social media for news on updates. In the meantime I can only kindly ask for your patience.

ay it is what it is ya know, cant fault you guys. i can only imagine the hassle and struggle to get these new versions to work on the first go. ill be here waiting!

Any chance you can make the dlcs for steam free for the week? i just spent so much getting new DLC’s and adding money to my gportal account to prepare for this update, now you’re telling us we have to wait for a patch that only we (microsoft game pass users) have to deal with? if your plan was to scare everyone off other clients just so you would get more downloads on the free trial, it worked, but at least make it so people like me can still go on their custom servers like isle of siptah.
