Could you explain why Epic Games is being excluded?

I have purchased Conan Exiles five times in total: three times on Steam, once on Epic Games, and once on PlayStation. I also own all the DLCs across all of these platforms. However, my most significant investment in Crom Coins was made on the Epic Games Store.

I would like to know why this great new update won’t be available on Epic Games. Furthermore, I’m very interested in transferring my Crom Coins—at the very least the unused ones—to one of my Steam accounts.

Everyone who bought the game on Epic Games or Microsoft would receive a Steam key.

Ideally, the character would be transferred from Epic Games to Steam.

This is purely a wild guess on my part. But I suspect that the sales of Conan Exiles on Epic and Microsoft were so low that Funcom does not give a rats ass about that sector of their market.

Proving that Steam and Epic use the same file system.

I saved space by using a single installation for both Steam and Epic. I only needed to change one name in BELauncher.ini, since the game files are identical on both platforms.

Steam is “64BitExe=ConanSandbox.exe” and Epic Games is “64BitExe=ConanSandboxEgs.exe” – only 3 letters, actually.

I wonder if you can trick Epic to playing the Steam updated version of the game that way. You might be onto something.
