Just and idea like that why toon don’t have unique perk so everyone can be different ??
its a mmorp/survival would make insane build, in different way and make people unique. and if you are not happy with perk you restart a new toon so people with be focuses more on what they have and what they want .
No no no no no please not more randomness. I hate randomness, especially when it comes to character development.
The thrall leveling system is really bad because of this ridiculous RNG factor and makes a lot less fun than it could actually be.
If they actually introduced that it would kill off the game completely, I am not even kidding, I can’t imagine a single person who would like to level a character to 60 and then realize that only wrong perks got randomly chosen, needing to re-roll that character.
Personally the rng of perks is BS and heavly catered to handing out worst ones non-stop…

You could Make Perk system select able. As alot of user want insert 1/5 perk to be this, or 4 of 5 perk should be this…
Why not just make it 1/5 str, theres 3 perks, you pick one.
x2 trub damage, Bonus to Light damage attacks(small), 2x Kick Damage
At 2/5 Str, you can add another Light damage buff and Selected Wound, and allow user 2 of listed Perks.
And keep going, Adding 2-3 perks to List. Do it for each of Savages Stats.
This way you have slight more build variety.
Players already have perks. You get them through attributes. And everyone is already as different as they want to, based on how they distribute their attribute points.
I wouldn’t mind it if they reworked the perk selection process, but I don’t think that’s something the game needs as desperately as it needs many other things.
You’re kidding, right? You actually want random perks for player characters and you want people to have to delete their character to change their perks??? Tell me I misunderstood that.
And if I didn’t misunderstand, tell me which game does something like that, so I can be sure to never play that game…
and loosing everything he farmed in the process…
Thrall perks aren’t unique… it’s just plusses and minuses to stats… they do nothing unique.
I’d like to have control over my own stats, thank you.
because in reality what happens is that players will reset their toon over and over again just to get the perks they want (which probably almost everyone will run the same) and for achieving this, they will start trivializing more and more character leveling just to see what perks they get and start over. It is a really bad BAD idea to do anything on this line. Besides, even though it is a survival game, this is more on sync with an RPG game and not a BattleRoyale or MOBA. Deleting the toon is not part of the game, it’s the end of the game.
