Yeah yeah yeah. I know some of you love it. Cool. Im genuinely glad if you do. I dont know how but I’m glad you’re getti g something out of it. Many things are subjective. However the mounts are terrible for some objective reasons as well.

They handle awful. I’ve ridden all sorts of horses in my day and not a single one was as clumsy, gaudy or goofy as these mounts. Horses do not need a 30 foot circle to turn. HOLY COW they practically zero turn around barrels people. My Aunt races them. Who and how did they come up with this terrible steering/movement system for these horses? I own a landscaping business and my crew crab truck with a 12 foot trailor LITERALLY turns better than these horses. Its not just off, it’s like making a volkswagon bug into a semi truck bad.

They’re useless? What am I supposed to do with them? I could punch something to death by the time I can hit with a lance, turn my semi truck of a mount around for another pass? Even if I’m hitting an enemy with every pass it will still take longer on a mount. As I said that’s IF the aim wasnt terrible/glitchy.

They cant carry anything? Is there something I’m missing here? They have the inventory space of like a fighter thrall or something? If I were moving a pack bearers inventory worth of stuff my 1 trip with the pack bearer would be faster than making 3 trips by mount?

They cant carry anything and they cant fight as good as a thrall. So other than running from one place to another, where I wont need to take a worthy fighting thrall with me or carry anything in any large quantities, what do I use them for?

Aim with a lance is terrible. I expect it to be cumbersome and “unresponsive” but that’s different than just plain being inaccurate. The perspective changes too quickly as you close in on your target, just out of nowhere, theres no consistent build up. Like beyond any excuse physics could make for it. Plus because the game runs so poorly it usually lag stutters right as you’re coming up on your target, and for some reason this moves not only your lance/reticule but also your entire mount to the right causing you to run squarely over your target.
Honestly if mounts had been just a cosmetic update I would have been more impressed or satisfied. If I could have a thrall tag along behind me on a cos.etic only mount that increased speed by like a measly 10% I would have been ecstatic. As it is I can simply fi d no use for them or no viable way to enjoy them.
