Feels like OOM fixes are too difficult to produce. So we get patches for ddos, corruption message, etc. Anything to avoid the more difficult task.

You know, getting the deal for 2gigs up AND down is EQUAL networking. This isn’t an ad, but you need that equality to get rid of the most glaring exploits.
In other words, your up speed is really how fast your connection is going. Now, go get pissed off at the ISP for keeping you vulnerable. Tell them to make it equal because… (back to the OP).
