Not gonna say that the game has everything for everyone, but there is something that people who don’t see value in everything should consider. Bug fixes alone, changes to broken mechanics that were implemented a long time ago for speed, etc don’t make for flashy (or timely) releases. Players expect something new with major updates. So if you look at the changes in inventory, the changes to combat, the harvesting ability of golems, the thrall sockets at doors, chairs and what have you, imagine what else they could be used for. This is an iterative process that is building on changes. Individual pueces may leave you wanting (I personally do not use golems for example) but now imagine instead of just following you, your thrall also did something. Imagine the sockets as not stationary thrall spots but points they start and finish from. Imagine what changes to the UI could enable like maybe linking benches and storage together. Those are all just hypotheticals, but they are big hypotheticals that require steps as they would take a long time to implement. I think we are seeing large scale changes to all the fundamentals of mechanics that take time (and by extension money) to develop. I’m most curious as to where it ends, not where we are at this exact moment.
