Yoggite Cudgel: Is it any good? What is stun damage?

Hi.
I am pretty new to the game and was just checking out the religious items & realized, how weak some of the weapons are at the time you get them - especially the Yoggite-weapons.

Is there a point to Yoggite Cudgel?
The damage is REALLY low.
In the description it says “stun-damage”, but I cant find info on this. Is this its redeeming feature? What does it do? Anybody can tell?

Concussive dmg or concussion as a result → K.O. for Human Thralls.
Careful, any weapon, that is not explicitly a Truncheon, has in some way ordinary dmg too. It means you will most likely kill the opponent before they might be k.o.-ed.
