The next change that is coming which @den has announced, the penalty for spamming rolls, is basically a step back again.
We will get the exhaustion system back, but only based on dodge rolls. He said 2.5 seconds, but IMO it should be 5 seconds again.
I am looking forward to this change though.
I proposed extra reach during combos, because of the dodge and the fast movement. Now you can always simply dodge + run when the enemy is doing combos and you are safe. With extra reach during combos, you can catch up and hit the enemy after the dodge roll.
This will turn the dodge roll into an actual dodge roll and not into an animation cancel or get out of range/hitstagger tool. People need to use it, to avoid attacks, not to get away from them. I think then we can also get rid of the hit stagger as well, but careful with that.
