Hello Support.

I’m playing PVE at server 1975. I bought a set from the Bazaar that contained Zamorian Wind Chimes and was hoping for some soothing sounds from it. What I got instead was:

  • After placing, it couldn’t be targeted for moving or removal
  • It remains as an obstacle even though you can do nothing about it
  • It remains floating in the air without anything supporting it

It would be GREATLY appreciated if this could be patched. Thank you very much in advance.

Just out of curiosity, if you leave the chimes like that – i.e. without any support – will they survive the reboot or will they lose stability?

It may have a larger hit box and therefore be hanging from the edge of the pillar. Removing a pillar may cause it to go away. That being said, if that pillar is a load bearing pillar, well… you know what will happen. It really just depends on what kinda work you’re willing to put into it to find out. :thinking:

Can always reinforce the area with some temporary pillars while you take that one out for now to prevent collateral damage lol

As things stand, it doesn’t have a ‘hit box’, its contact point you can see in the picture, it’s a very small round thing. But no matter what you do, you can’t target it, same for the repair hammer, it doesn’t ‘see’ it.

It’s a vertical thing, it was hanging to the ceiling. I already used a lot of pillars down there before I took the ceiling out…

I was waiting for reboot to confirm it for you. And yes… it’s still there… I’m tempted to test it in some random location to see if it decays, but it’s rather pointless (I want to get rid of the one haunting me right in the middle of my house).

maybe he is being sustained by the pillar, what if you shore up some pillars around to not lose the stability of the upper floor and remove this pillar near it? may it could help. Sometimes when i found flying things in CE placing and removing some blocks under it make it dissapears, think it worths a try. Hope you can get rid of it man i feel your pain.

Anyone 'member when the red tents became permanent features of the landscape after being placed back in 2018?

I bought the hanging garden set yesterday, everything worked fine except the chimes. I gone to a place far from my base to test it, its bugged as well i managed to get rid of it deleting its supporting structure.
