Might be accurate… although I do have resist and had a cold armor on the first time it happened. But it stopped happening for me once I logged out in a room totally consisting of black ice building parts - not even cold in there.
It still shouldn’t happen if I can survive naked in that area while being online without the walls… Just strange. It’s also strange you don’t spawn at your bed but in the desert.
