Cannot toggle to take off my armor or access other inventories in my base

I try to toggle over to take off my armor in my inventory and it doesnt highlight. It is the same when I try to access one of my chests or workbenches.

I am having the exact same issue which is stopping me from playing the game. I hope they fix it soon so I can start playing again.
