1.0.47 is the new official version, with all the issues that happened with the recent Exiles patch I spent more time digging for information to help the dev team than on the Launcher, but apparently it’s deemed good enough to be Official, so there it is 
(And just so you know, the dev team is working around the clock over multiple offices to try to nail down all these issues once and for good, and making sure that all the things like being able to run a client and server on the same machine, same local network, direct connect, query port api, etc… is working properly.)

Hey there! Just wanted to update you on the Conan Situation. Our develeopers have been running some tests to see if they can get the server to start up properly. They’ve only managed to start it up roughly 2/100 times after starting the server. Currently they believe we will need to wait for an update from the Conan developers to help with the issue. Depending on how long that take we will most likely be getting in contact with them as well.
I’m sure they have lots of information for you guys from theire attempts.

Hey ever since this new update my dedicated server wont run anymore why is that?
My server does not shut down. eternal loop “The Game Server is shutting down”.
What is happening, I already tested on 2 different pcs and the same failure occurs.
I’m seeing this too on my own private server. You can kill it however and it will restart.
However that would be pain if the server if on a remote system and have no other means of forcing it to close and restart. That could explain why quite a few servers are unreachable since many have restart set so they can auto-update. And now they’re getting stuck on the shutdown and not restarting.

Hi… dont know if this is a common issue or temporary issue… but am starting to check here if anyone else have the same issue…
When i use my dedicated server i can no longer go online on my conan client. as soon as i stop running the dedicated server it works fine… 
i have tested reboots, i have tested to turn of my firewall…
the dedicated server works on all ports and am using the standard ports. others can join the server and play… the issue is that am running the client on same PC as the server. it has been working for a long time… but now on last update it doesnt any more… 
plz let me know if anyone have a solution on this =)

Same happen on my dedicated server, it doesn’t matter if there are MODs or not.
Also happen if you just click the restart or stop button.
Can’t restart, even if I close the launcher. Have to restart computer or open taskmanager and close conansandbox and UE4game
Strange is that on my testlive server that I have exactly same setup , shutdown and restart works as it should do.
Another one here with the same problem.
When u launch the server, and u try to update the mods… cant download them. ERROR! downloading blablabla …
And the same when u try to start hosting, cant stop the server or restart, the icon seems to dont work and the window pop-up when u launch it, is not there.

All these issues are being worked on, I believe the “server gets stuck on shutdown” will be in the next hotfix (but don’t quote me on that, I’m not on the dev team, all I know is that I transmitted the informations and somebody fixed the issue, just not sure when it will be deployed).

Existing server that worked fine prior to recent update. Running the latest version, my server is getting unknown requests:

So, how do I update my server from Dedicated Server Launcher 1.0.46 to 1.0.47? Or will I lose my Current Server? I am New at this, And very confused.
And we won’t lose anything? And is that the Conan sandbox server exe? i’m new at this.

Restarting the Dedicated Server let it update the Steam components to the latest version of Conan Server.
It is shutting down and restarting fine now.

The configuration of the tool is stored in the INI files of the game server, there’s no other configuration files to mess up with so if you have 1.0.46 running and want to update, you don’t even have to shut down your server:
- download the new executable and put it where the previous 1.0.46 was (don’t even have to remove 1.0.46, so you can easily go back to the previous version if you found a problem).
- close 1.0.46
- start 1.0.47
Normally the tool will detect that the server is running and continue from where it was, without any disruption on restart times or update checks.
Let say that the team has been doing some late work these few last days.
The main problems the team had, was that there was a few miss-reported errors which led to search for problems where they were not, which kind of delayed things (like some of the reported FLS errors were not FLS errors at all but Steam errors caused by the start of the Sumer Sales), but there’s now a proper list of issues, and the team is going through them and trying to do regularly hot-fixes to fix things one at a time.
Generally speaking, the better the reports, the more chances the issues get fixed ![]()

My Server XYZ, hosted on QWE is crashing on startup, I’ve tried with and without mods, same issue, I noticed there was many “Warning: Blablabla” and “Error: Bliblib lib” which were not present in the previous versions, here are the log files and a crashdump of the server when it happened.
