Welcome back Estevanweb. Thankyou for taking the initiative to try and revive this contest. As it would happen, I was getting close to doing so myself. You are right that it became dormant for some time, and there are two main reasons for this. The first is that I wanted to give KujoUjima due time to reach out to M.K. Davies, (and for M.K. Davies to hopefully respond!) the man who seemingly is the original architect of the Crom Altar/Forge design displayed here. Um not sure if it was the right call to put things on hold for this entry. But like yourself I REALLY like the design, and wanted to give it a chance to be entered into the contest. On that note, @KujoUjima, tell me did you have any luck in reaching out to him…?
The second, is that unfortunately I also had some Real Life problems occur within that time frame, which I would prefer not to get into. As a result, I had to cut my forum time down drastically at that time. I do apologise to prior entrants for this inconvenience.
So…I gues the question everyone is wondering at this point us; is the Contest still on? The answer to that friends is an emphatic hell yes!! So peoples, keep sending those entries if you wish, it is not too late. This is open to newer members too. I will set a new, revised due date for:

In recent times, I also noted a few other members who may or may not like to try their hand at participating. If I spot any other candidates on the forum, I will also invite them. However, if you are an artist or a modder and happen upon this, please consider this an open invitation.
@Dovah, Im sure that most of us noticed recently that your husband @Refrin is quite the artist. Refrin, I do not know if this is in your normal ball park design wise, but you are most welcome to participate if you would like to do so?
Also, @Fia I noticed by your user discription under your avatar that you are actuallly one of the Modders who work on Pippi. Again I am not sure if this is your normal forte or not. But you are also welcome to participate if you would like?

So if he he happens upon some more free time between now and then, he is still most welcome to submit additional entries if he would like, there is no limit on entries. No obligation or pressure of course; just letting you both know that the door remains open.

If its not to late I might be also also able to come up with something. This way I can practise skills in Blender and other tools. Would love to design something completely new.
Later on it could be added to Shadows of Skelos - Extended.

Dont worry you are certainly not too late. The current closing date for entries is June 5th 2020. However, as with previously I am willing to extend the deadline if you have an entry you would genuinely like to submit, but just cant make the deadline. No worries at all, just say the word okay? Buddy that is not what this particular thread is about. It is not to debate as to whether or not Crom should have features. It just asks modders and artists to conceptualise on a hypothetical level what they would look like if they were in the game. For example, lets say you got a day long VIP pass to Mount Crom, and he showed you around his fortress and armory. This contest basically asks the participants what they think the weapons and armor on his own racks would look like, and what his own statues/placeables around his base would look like. Is all essentially just a bit of fun with visualisation, as Crom would never actually gift his goods to his followers. Its basically: what do you think you would find in Croms own personal vault? I hope this makes sense and I have done a good job of explaining it.
In terms of discussing what you would or wouldnt like to see actually added into the game itself in terms of real and useable mechanics and features (like the ones you listed in post no.118), please use this thread:
Im just trying to keep this thread for entries, and not see it bloated with the philosophical debates which will inevitably be raised by other members. Heck ill even come and join you for a good discussion on it. In fact I would strongly advise that you copy everything listed in Post no.118 into this thread, so that if by chance the day should ever come and something does actually get added, your voice and ideas will be there for Funcoms reference with the rest of ours. Sadly I cant count it as an entry unless you want to draw a picture or create a mod of what you are suggesting. For example, a picture of the Crom Purge creatures or the ‘shrine’ which may trigger it then disappear.
No problems Berserk. Im actually in the process of updating some aspects of the other thread at the moment (hopefully by the weekend). Ill give you a summons when its finalised if you like; I would love to discuss Crom with you at greater lengths and see your own ideas added to the thread.
Berserk you have talent mate, just look at your Cosplay thread. I am lousy at things such as it. As far as drawing goes, you couldnt possibly be any worse than me. But in all seriousness I like it! I can literally visualise these guys, swarming the player and fighting with the ferocity we would expect of something sent by Crom himself. Great work Berserk!

It is unfortunate, but I cannot say that I am surprised. For all we may not have even been back to it in years now. You had more than that one entry anyway, and voting on the winner will probably be done by artist/modder, as opposed to individual entries, otherwise the voting list would be astronomically long. So you are still 100% in the running buddy.
Hi @GrayRainbow and welcome to the community! And what a way to make an entry too. I love your sword design (and the tale of the ‘warrior’ Crom too ). I actually really like the shape and design of the sword too, with its jagged blade points and sharp hilt design. It is great to see a good old fashioned Steel design too, to compliament our existing star metal ones. You are definately in the running. The draw is scheduled for the first week of June. Keep an ear out friend, and well done.

But see how you go ok, and if you need an extension just let me no BEFORE the the due date my friend. You have some hooks inside to hang in on bowls to melten steel (at least if you roleplay to do so). With a nearby placed anvil you are ready to forge the mighty steel only Cimmerians can craft.
It’s ready to bring into the mod … if ppl do not find it tooooo ugly it is
Call me weird if you like, but while I do like both, I like Steel a little more myself. Its just a lot moi re simple and gritty than star metal which is more rare and exquisite. I was actually the same on Skyrim, despite them being weaker I preferred the designs of the iron, ancient nord and steel weapons myself. Personally, I think they just have more of a barbarian feel to them.
Nicely done Senya! It is great see another forge in the contest, as there hadnt been many thus far. Especially when we consider that a well crafted weapon is so important to any Crom worshipper.
Outstanding! I dont mind at all if its ‘ugly’. Crom doesnt strike me as a god who prizes finery and exquisite beauty. To myself at least, I percieve something relating to Crom to be powerful and ruimentary by nature; this is both. Furthermore, I wouldnt say that Crom is an aesthetically pleasing god himself. More gruff and brooding. Ugly is good. Man you have done such a good job with that Forge Senya. You are welcome to submit additional entries if you wish (there is no limit). But either way you are in the running. Nice work!
As a goodie I’ll upload the sculpted version. Here you can see a bit better that the “head” has some “hair” and it should be some beard around the mouth…
But after some straining days and “rotational madness” I guess I will take some days off from doing anything modding related at all and just collect feedback about latest changes. So there won’t be a second entry from my side.
