Crystals can not be mined (pick, any)

Bug Description:

cant “mine” (with pick) crystals anymore, only picking them up by hand

Bug Reproduction:

  1. equip a pick (any)
  2. go to a spot with crystals
  3. see that nothing happens

There were always some crystal nodes that could not be mined, but now its all of them. Going to a cave and picking up a couple thousand crystals by hand is a new level of grind…

Please read the patchnotes! This is not a bug, you can´t use a tool for crystal anymore, only by hand.

This didn’t change :wink:. At least before the hotfix, i didn’t try it today :rofl::rofl::rofl:.

Which is a whole added problem - one of the key points about sorcery was supposed to be that no-one was forced into using it. It was supposed to provide a different way to play, not a better way to play. If sorcery can still harvest important resources en masse, while without sorcery requires slowly picking up one at a time by hand, then the balance is getting wonky.

really ? that crazy, this game is not into the right hand, killing it slowy making suffer all players seriously, there is a name for this kind of behavior…

But in all fairness, sorcery is like 99% of the time a worse way to play and reserved for us that want to play the corrupted magic user. This change makes it the better option to harvest crystal…and really only crystal.

This should be put back into mine crystals with a tool. As you need glass to make orbs for cooking and alchemy. By hand harvest takes too long.

Harvesting is broke in many ways, just people are preoccupied with more urgent bugs.

As in mass cull{ :roll_eyes: } wont harvest bushes; no plant fiber, no seeds, no bugs. The longer I played on testlive the more little bugs like this I found.

Would be interesting to see if Golems can mine them.

In a cave i got 13k crystals in 2 casts off mass cull. I take a cursed weapon and a hero heart. Wasn’t corrupted for more than a few minutes and got an age worth of crystal. Efficient harvest is a must.
