Bug Reporting Template

We’re testing out a new forum component that allows for drop down menus and forms. While this is not a perfect solution for bug report forms, the goal is to make bug reporting easier and smoother.

This is far from a final version and is subject to change or even be scrapped. Thank you!

Once you fill out the form, the information prints in a box at the bottom of this post. Please scroll down so you can copy and paste for your own bug report.

Server Name: 3504

Bug Description:

The cyclopean dungeon doesn’t show up. I have done all the updates, and restarted the game.

Bug Reproduction:

I didn’t cause this bug. I was just looking for the dungeon. I’m in the right place. There is just a big hole in the mountain.

The dungeon won’t show up on PS5, becasue it is an addition made to the game on CE Enhanced (UE5) - the dungeon was built by Inflexion, who has responsibility for CEE, but does not have any responsibility for CELegacy (UE4), which is what consoles (and non-steam PCs) are still on. They are two different branches of the game. It is hoped that at some point in the future consoles may receive the upgrade to UE5, but we have been given very little info about this beyond vague assurances that it ‘has not been ruled out’ and they are ‘looking into the feasibility’.

The hope is that it is just a matter of getting the UE5 upgrade into a stable state where it does not require hotfixes every week (because the certification process for consoles and non-steam PCs would make that expensive and unfeasible on a time constraint). The fear is that it may never be ported across, or that it may wait for next gen consoles such as PS6. We simply don’t know.

Either way - The Cyclopean Halls is a part of the UE5 version of the game and is not availalble on consoles.

FON :nicowl:

Well that sucks. Does it show up on the PS4?

That is correct. All players not specifically on Steam PC are currently still on CE Legacy (UE4) (so that is all consoles - all Xbox versions and all Playstation versions - Epic Store PCs, Microsoft Store PCs, and any Steam PCs either choosing not to update or not high enough specs for the update).

All (major) updates are currently only for CE Enhanced (UE5). Legacy did recently get a small update fixing some bugs and turning transfers back on (which led to more trouble…), but all content updates, such as the new dungeon are exclusive to CEE.

It’s already “rumored” that the next gen Xbox will have access to other markets and the regular Xbox market with steam being mentioned , so at least CEE will be available for next gen Xbox users ( if the “rumor” is true ) I can see a world where sony does the same …

Game studios must have some inside knowledge about those things …

Then it would make sense for Funcom if they already know that it’s the case for both consoles to not want to work on a special version of the game if it’s for the game to not be able to run at full specs on this generation of consoles especially if with no additional work/cost they are able to sell the game on next gen consoles …
