Hey folks trying to get back into AO but downloading the game is a nightmare but I got it done. It would go down to bytes/s but eventually after it would timeout I got a decent speed.
Now patching the game is a nightmare. 40 mins to download a 900kb file so just wondering if I’m the only one having this issue and if there’s any ideas on how to fix it.
If it helps I’m using soldier net at the barracks I’m at. It’s not great with max d/l speed about 1.9mb/s but still shouldn’t be as bad as it is for downloading and patching. I’ve tried downloading the patches off the website but the speed is just as bad.
