Bug Description:
“Explore the Midnight Grove” on Dungeon Delver Journey will not complete, despite running through the entire dungeon and makings sure to hit every area multiple times. Have fully completed the dungeon 4 times now.
Bug Reproduction:
Selected Dungeon Delver Journey and went through dungeon multiple times.
I just did that dungeon a couple of days ago, and the journey step completed ok.
I think it triggers by eating the flesh of remembrance you get from harvesting the final boss?
It does not, as “Eat the Flesh of Remembrance” is the next step in the same Journey. But either way, we’ve eaten the flesh of remembrance all 4 times now anyway.
I also had the journey step complete just before the latest hotfix on Xbox toward the end of the event. But I am not surprised if it is buggy.
“Explore” should be triggered by killing the final boss.
You have to actually deal the final blow. If your clanmate or follower kills them, it does not count. I’m not sure, but damage over time (bleed, poison, etc.) may also not count.
I recently did the whole journey together with a friend. With many of the boss steps no credit was given when we killed it together. Retrying solo later (with a thrall) always worked.
I have done the final hit without bleed, as has my partner that runs it with me. None of the 5 times now has it worked.
I will try this today.
