Metal: Hellsinger is a rhythm FPS, where your ability to shoot on the beat will enhance your gameplay experience. The more in sync you are with the rhythm, the more intense the music will become and the more destruction you will cause.

Who made the game?
The game is made by The Outsiders, a Funcom studio. It is the passion project of David Goldfarb, Game Director of games such as Payday 2, and Lead Designer of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3.
What’s the story?
Part human, part demon, and obsessed with vengeance. Become The Unknown, and fight through the fiercest domains of Hell. Destroy the demon hordes and their leaders to set yourself up for an epic showdown with The Red Judge (voiced by Jennifer Hale) herself.
When is it going to be released?
Metal: Hellsinger is scheduled for release on September 15, 2022!
What platforms is it going to be released on?
Metal: Hellsinger is going to be released on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
Is there going to be a physical release?
Currently we’re planning only a digital release of Metal: Hellsinger.
Why is not this other platform included?
We’ve chosen to focus on one generation of hardware to deliver the best experience we can at launch.
Is there a demo?
Yes! Go play it!
Will there be improvements between the demo and the final version?
Yes. The demo build dates from April 2022 and since then we’ve been working on more polishing and balancing towards the final version.
We’ll also be reviewing the data and feedback received over the course of the demo period and we’ll work on improving and balancing the final game based on that.
For instance, we are working on addressing some of the cheese scoring strategies, as well as rebalancing the scoring in general to reward more gameplay styles.
Is the Soundtrack original?
Every track is created specifically for the game by composer duo Two Feathers, with vocals by metal icons, such as Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Matt Heafy (Trivium), Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity), Randy Blythe (Lamb of God), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) and Tatiana Shmailyuk (Jinjer).
What modes are in the game?
Play through an epic storyline, narrated by award-winning actor Troy Baker.
Unlock special challenges and conquer the realms of Torment to become more powerful in the stages and get a leg up on the leaderboards.
