Which specific thing was broken with the last hotfix? Please specify what went wrong, and make a bug report in the appropriate forum section for that.
Yesterday’s patch seems to work just fine for me. No new problems emerged, and the snake purge didn’t teleport into my base, so looks like a net positive for me.
