After the patch today I can not place gates as they normally function, even placing just 3 square foundations on the floor at any location, the gate will not align to them any longer

Having same issue. I couldnt upgrade my current gate then i ripped it down and now i can even replace my gate that i just had. Currently playing on a privet server

Same issue here. I can’t place any type of gate frame. It’s look like to the game wants it to place under the foundation and writes that “Cannot place while overlapping another object” - Yes, because it is under the foundation.
If the game let me place it, where I don’t want to place it, I can’t rotate it.

same issue here. if i want to place a gate frame i need to put three foundation pratically underground to pout the gate frame on them

You have to have the foundation or ceilings nearly flush with the ground then they snap.
There appears to be a bug that if the gate is being placed on peices that are a bit higher than near ground level it won’t snap.
It has to be a bug because this has not been an issue as long as I can recall until this “patch”. So far this patch has been a fail for my performance on Xbox s plus these new bugs now……really considering stopping paying for any of this bug ridden crap

Also able to replicate. Has ruined two layers of gates to a water based setup. I have had to replace with tiny doors in the meantime. This is on a vanilla rented server from gportal.

I still cant place a gate unless my foubdation is less than a quater block above ground. Whether im in solo or multi. Frustrsting for sure!
Also still having this issue - this is not fixed.
Has anyone seen a official response or dealt with support on the issue? This is the first I’ve seen of others having the issue. Thought I was going crazy (edit: saw another thread the community is working on a fix)
