Hollowbone Bow: Cannot Equip Arrows

Arrows cannot be equipped onto the Hollowbone bow, making it useless in the hands of a player. Archer thralls can use it just fine with the free/default ammo. Note, I did not have any Hollowbone Arrows to test, but wiki indicates bow should be able to fire any ammo.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Get the Hollowbone Bow
  2. Equip it to a hotbar slot
  3. Attempt to drag & drop arrows onto it (tried Snake, Explosive, Iron, Serpentman) and note that none of them will equip.
  4. Give it to an archer thrall and observe that they can still shoot basic ammo at least

The loading action is different for some bows now. To load, equip the bow from your hotbar, pull up your inventory, click the arrows, then hit F or click Use. :slight_smile:

OK, in that case then, the bug is inconsistency in the user interface which might be an even more serious issue! :grimacing:

Thanks for the heads-up, I’ll give this a try tonight and apprise others on my server.

For your testing purposes, pre-Warmaker Legendary bows like Bessie’s Bow and The Huntress all work by drag and drop. Pre-patch and post-patch crafted bows, including DLC and Epics work with drag and drop, up to Specialist Ammunition III. But not with the new arrows.
