Yes there is an issue that is preventing you from continuing to run. It starts after toggle but stops quickly. When the key is bound correctly you can hold it down. They hope to release a hotfix for it soon.
However, I’m also experiencing what you mentioned. After I tried tinkering with my key bindings on Xbox, I now lose the sprint toggle binding completely after restarting. I have not heard them mention this detail specifically but I hope the patch address this too.
It’s fixed on my ps and xbox versions, so I can now toggle sprint, my only issue now is I have to keep remapping sprint every time I load game.
Not sure why it keeps unmapping my keybind everytime I close game then reboot it, it’s done this since the sprint toggle was broken and the controller I use is a ps elite controller, never had the issue till the AoW 4 update. I’ve not checked with standard controller as my partner uses it on her ps5.
It’s still an official controller and shouldn’t be doing it though so if anyone has any ideas that would be nice
Every time I quit the client my first person view (d-pad up) and my L3 click are reset to not being key binded.
When the original issue had occurred I used d-pad up to remap my sprint toggle (not the best but it worked) and since they partially fixed the issue I have to manually rebind those two keys after each client shutdown.
That stinks. I was definitely experiencing the keybinding issue as well on Xbox before the patch. Luckily, the keybinding to toggle run seems to be sticking now.
I’m not sure if this is the reason or not, but I ended up restoring defaults instead of resetting the run binding. If you haven’t already tried that, maybe give that a shot.
It’s annoying just having the one do it, hopefully they fix it fully soon, once I’ve remapped L3 it works fine but it’s annoying having to remap it everytime I go on the game
