Bug Description:
Malodorous Grand Champion lure does not decay while offline after 4.11.2024
Bug Reproduction:
Last night before going to bed i got 5 of these lures and where before the patch you could not put them in the compost heap to speed up decay or keep them on your body after you went offline (see previous bug report) you could put them in chests (make sure that they were not stacked, very strange that they are stackable btw) and they would decay even after you went offline. Now that does not work anymore either. This is when i logged on this morning.
Since the event will end in 2 days it means that i will have to stay online for almost 24 hours in these 2 days to make sure i can use these lures and get the rewards…

What i see now is that when during the day every time i go online and check the timer on the lures they have progressed. Can this be a problem with the daily reset? I have had this problem for the last 2 nights. My lures from Thursday have an 8 hour timer now. Could this be that the lures in the chest get checked when one opens the chest and that the daily reset resets the decay progression and not start it back up?
I just tried and I don’t have the same problem, though I have only one in piece my inventory. Maybe the stack of them is the problem causing that? Try to separate them to single pieces and then try to go off, if it changes something in the decay timer
You are saying that after the patch it now decays when you are offline? I am not saying it does not decay, i am saying it does not decay when i am offline.
I think it’s some kind of bug which may or may not appear. I tried twice: Logging off right after I got the lure and it seemed the only time the counted of the decay was the seconds while I was in loading screen to get back in the game.
After second attempt ( I got myself limit of 3 minutes off) it all seemed well, about two and half inutes went off the decay timer when I got back in the game.
Hard to tell for sure, I got my first lure today, so I have no idea if it is already fixed for good, nor do I know what it works for someone and someone not.
