Platform: Steam
Issue Type: Battle Pass
Game Mode: Online Private
Server Type: PvE
Map: Exiled Lands
Bug Description:
We don’t get Battlepass progress if two player kill something.
Bug Reproduction:
Got a friend, go kill something. If both of you hit the same target even once no one gets Battlepass progress. Kill the same target by your own and you will get it.
As far as we can tell it is the progress alltogether (with and without challanges) when we have to kill something. We didn’t finish a challenge rigth now so we can not say for shure if all challenges are effected, but the three we have are (kill: world boss, large creature and deamonic creature). But the biggest “problem” is the progress without a challenge, because we can’t grind through hordes of enemies together and allone can be quite hard in this game. You have to be carefulll that only one person hits an enemy or no one gets points and this is nearly impossible.
I can confirm that if another player gets even one hit on a creature, common or giant, you get no challenge XP or progression. Looks like a great way to troll people. But seriously, to expect characters to take on large or giant creatures in the world, in a multiplayer game, where you are trying to create groups of warriors to fight giant battles … it must be broken.
Why is this a thing now? This is getting rediculous.
No one asked for the changes to the BP.
And the only way we as server admins have a way to fix it, by making spawn points for the creatures…now ALSO makes them unavailable for progress? If this is some time gating bs, honestly you likely can expect most of us who supported Funcom to drop like flies.
I already pay for the battle pass with my hard earned cash, I am NOT going to double pay with my VERY valuable time off work on top of it for a grind fest.
I know it’s unrelated but if you need quick XP for your battlepass to help it along, crafting alchemical base in single player mode at 10x crafting speed, and admin spawn in all the materials. 5 mins gets your dailies done!
I know it’s not a solution to your issue, just thought I’d offer the trick!
