Who here has been able to buy anything? and what have you bought so far?
So far, I have bought (with the help of my clan collecting the Gnarled Fangs so we have at least one set of everything)

What are you tactics to get the Gnarled Fangs?

The Lumarian Brazier ( very happy with this , its huge)
The Jebal Sag Statue
All the wall paints
The Thrall pot ( which i regret cause thrall pots are still broken so its useless)
The Werehyena (he doesnt hit hard and his AI is sluggish, but man he has a ton of HP)
for grinding i just pick one of the bosses, in my case the Panther and just spamed him. Champion respawns every 5 minutes, so i would just sit there and kill him over and over.when Im out of lures, take all the fangs and spend them all on lures, rinse and repeat. eventually you’ll have like 50 + lures and after killing him 50+ times in one grind session you’ll have like 800+ fangs, head back and buy a bunch of stuff from the vender. Save like 50 fangs, buy 5 lures, start again.
Yuck, that sounds horrible. I did all the champions and got the malodorous champion lure. It just finished it’s count down so I can fight the boss.
I did fight the rhino champion a few times but the rhino champion is only dropping 15 - 16 gnarled fangs so not really worth it especially when it costs 10 gnarled fangs for a lure.
I am hoping Funcom ups the drops so we can get the recipes.
put a teleport near each boss nothing special just a telaporteter beat one jump beat one jump beat one jump less wait time an by getting all three u can make the champion lure more often he drops 50 at least everutime i killed him i have bought everything but the armor an the two weapons hope this helps ohh an if u can build the teleporteds someone else may have done it an left there teleporter open just find the right rock an jump u can use any uncovered teleporter i left mine open so everyone could do it
I find it more efficient to kill X amount of the three common champions, usually 20 to 30 each, then use the brands plus another lure to summon the grand champion. Did a few of the tainted lures but that takes too long just for fangs imo and you run the risk of accidentally stacking and losing them.
Like someone said having ports can greatly speed it up though I would advise against using a maproom to travel to the sinkhole with thralls for the time being. Numerous threads detailing how it’s randomly killing them ATM.
Since you asked I got all the bought items except the weapons, which I didn’t want, on two characters the first round and on two more this second round. All on official servers. I’m reluctant to do such a grind on a private server since they tend to poof.
I repeated the 3 base champions - sometimes the sane one a few times or jumped around. Much easier with a warpainted thrall to help.
Then when you have a bunch of the 3 brands, I converted those to a bunch of the base grand champion one. And then just bought one of the grand champion potions and used that and then just stayed in there and fought grand champion over and over. He also can be redone every 5 minutes. That way you save on the 3 fangs for the potion.
I did 10 grand champions in a row. Got 40-50 fangs per grand champion kill. 40 only once or twice. 50 a few times. The rest like 43, 45, 46, 48.
With a good thrall the werebear barely moved with thrall tanking it so can just get behind and cut it up

Only one character because I just don’t have the motivation to collect all of this on anyone else simply because I doubt I can complete it in a reasonable timeframe before the next age.
Warpainted thrall? You mean you strip your thrall and put the warpaint on? Wouldn’t they just die really fast?
No… get a beefy thrall like Dalinsia or something with a momentum and stacks of gruel. I use Anja the Dervish as she’s got over 7K with well-trained (Cormag I believe would be comparable). Health rarely gets to even half way, and usually she barely loses any health. By the time I get to the next boss she’s usually pretty healed up.

Except I had a lvl 20 cimmerian beserker.
Health was about half way on maybe the mammoth and sometimes werebear but the rest weren’t as bad. I was in there attacking too so it went quickly.
5 mins between able to do boss battles lets the thralls health come back with the 2 full stacks of gruel.
