Bug Description:
Savory fodder was unlocked via the twitch stream whenever it was. Started a new game recently and now savory fodder is not available, not showing up in the alchemy bench in the new game and cannot be admin spawned.
Bug Reproduction:
Start new game and play. I had no problems with the savory fodder in the previous game with all the mods installed.
Do you have the issue if playing without any mods?
Funcom only get involved if no mods - they have nothing to do with the mods obviously, so Mods have to be eliminated from that mix.
Also guessing you have checked the various mod Discords for anyone else listing that issue?
Please, turn off your mods to see if you’re able to craft the Savory Fodder.
If this issue still remains after turning off your mods, please submit a ticket to our Help center so our team can investigate what’s happening in your account.
Make sure to select “in-game purchase” as the issue type.
I have attempted to follow the link provided but am unable to log into the help centre. It is not accepting the funcom login I already have and attempts to reset my password are not generating the reset email.
Also the link to the Funcom help centre only takes me to a homepage, and from there it is not clear where to find the help centre. If I go to the “Report a bug” then it tells me to make a forum post…which this is so can I get some help please and a response @Funcom .
You won’t find it easily anymore anyway. Most of the text has been modified to point you to submit a ticket through the game itself. Not sure why they made this change but is what it is.
I think I have solved the problem in an unrelated way.
According to the Conan Exiles Wiki the savory fodder was a twitch drop.
I was watching twitch last night for the Primeval Crown and noticed the on the Twitch rewards page a bunch of my more recent drops for CE and other games all had a “connect button” on them.
Taking a wild guess here I assumed that somehow my Twitch account had somehow become un-linked from Conan Exiles I reconnected them all and surprisingly when I restarted CE the savory fodder was there in the Alchemy bench and could be admin spawned as well.
Checking the craftables on my character I saw the “Great Green Emerald”, which had also been missing from my inventory since the previous Twitch drop.
What I cannot figure out is how my Twitch account became un-linked from CE and my other games but it sort of makes some sense in a weird way that this could have been the problem.
So at the top of a bench’s inventory there is a drop down list which shows “All” unless you choose a specific DLC or in some cases “none”. I was reviewing some posts and notice that for some players the game is defaulting to “none” which doesn’t show their DLC, Twitch, BLB and/or BP items. This causes them to believe these items have gone missing from their crafting menus.
It doesn’t look like this is the case for you though. Twitch and CE for whatever reason unlinks frequently. No one knows the cause but relinking will fix it like in your case.
