Ive tried official servers, but the areas i want to build are built on and ive unfortunately have become spoiled with a few mods. Ive played private servers, but after 4 or 5 times of losing everything due to wipes, im a little unmotivated. Are there any private servers anyone knows of that dont do wipes?

No, sorry. The only way to find out would be to ask the admin upon entrance, before getting too involved with the server. But if they use mods which are not compatible with the updates, they might wipe again at some point, unfortunately. Some people choose the vanilla private servers just because of that.
