I have been trying to find out if there is any plans for a rewamp of the chat system. But so far not able. Anyway here is a few of my thoughts on the topic.
- Different tabs for Global, Clan and Local and possibility to change between them by clicking on the tabs. This to avoid missing an important chat message in you clan, because the world chat is very active.
- Direct messages between players. Some times people need to communicate across the map. And not always are they in the same clan.
- Clicking on player names in chat, allows you to send direct messages to them.
- Option to ignore / mute / block certain players in chat. Yes it happens that sometimes players need to blow some steam in the chat and whine about how harsh the exiled lands are.
