Age of Heroes bring even more bugs

So with this new update came absolutely nothing beneficial to any players playing on either pvp or pve-c servers. In fact i would say it actually hurt most players considering our thralls have a chance of getting thanos snapped from existence. The 2 new npc quests are extremely buggy and barely work, freyais extremelybuggy and gets stuck in “returning home” status mid quest mine has been stuck going on 20 hours, and the worker thralls having humanlike characteristics just cause more stress and annoyance for anyone playing on a server where stealing is allowed. This is a survival game. Ive been playing since 2019. Back then there was hardly any server lag. Pvp was fluid and skill based. Now i can’t pvp someone without them teleporting around and lagging. This update needs to be reverted. They wont do that though so thr alternative solutionthe devs can do is

  1. Give us the option to block thrall interactions with doors
  2. Fix the servers. My ps5 has game crashes because your servers and game arent optimized and cant handle being multiplayer
  3. Start fixing the bugs in the beta test before releasing the content. If you dont do this then whats the point of having a beta

The easy fix is rolling the patches back to pre-sorcery when the game was actually playable (still a bit buggy but nothing like the drek we have to deal with now) and still very fun… but they won’t do it.

The noise you are making in the forums about this is not going to help us coax any more quality out of Funcom for Conan Exiles.

I mean that would be the ideal fix. Keep the cosmetics of everything put the game back to how it was pre sorcery. I understand funcom isnt going to do it, cause they dont listen to their community, but theyre gonna bein for a rude awakening when they drop dune and the game dies out a month after coming out because none of the bugs are being fixed

at some point you will need to face reality…they won’t reverse 3 years of content. In fact, nothing is wrong with the content itself. They just have very poor quality control. An actual fix would be to listen to the feedback on public test server and hiring people to fix issues in time.

That’s not a fact at all. Plenty of the new content is broken, unwanted, out of place, unnecessary, poorly designed, frivolous, pointless, useless, game breaking, user unfriendly, or all of the above.

I am not attempting to be offensive. I’m trying to be pragmatic. Asking for the game to return to a state erasing years of history simply is not likely, nor is it practical. I’ll stop interacting with your posts. Because you haven’t taken the message from others. And I expect that you also will not take the message from me.

For the thralls opening doors issue, just modify your base to have one main “crafting” floor that is without any doors to the outside.

Use an elevator to access it from the ground floor. This way, if they have no door to the outside they can’t let players inside. :ok_hand:t3:

(Just be sure there are chairs, beds, and a campfire also on that floor)

It is unlikely, but it absolutely is a practical solution to the issues at hand.

No. I was NOT trying to be rude. I assure you. Please don’t tell me my motivations. I will do the same to not try and tell you yours.

If you have a room full of instruments, and they are all untuned and uncoordinated, the resulting sound that they produce is “noise.” Not in the “rude” sense. But in the actual definition of the word. Uncoordinated, unaligned…NOISE. You can even look at it with a tool like a frequency counter or a spectrum analyzer. The waves bounce all over the place, and do not share any amplitude alignments. That is how I was trying to describe your pleas. I was not saying what I did because I wanted to you to become angry, or to feel bad.

Much like any of the complaining here on the forums (myself included!). Unless it is tuned, unless it is coordinated, and unless it is unified in it’s delivery, it is simply noise. People tend to dismiss a single strand of sound in that way. People will do the same with a single forum poster.

Again - I am not attempting to deliberately hurt your feelings. I am simply explaining what it was I was trying to convey to you.

By all means - keep posting and asking for your roll back to pre-Sorcery. It is certainly your right to do so as a member of these forums. But if you do - I think you will find that the vast majority of other players and other posters are not going to take your pleas seriously until you find a way to tune and coordinate them.

take that sentence of mine out of context all you want, but for context though:
the things they implemented are great ideas and fun to play.
I enjoy them, unless they are not implemeted with huge bugs that make them unplayable and unusable like that last one.
I expect the issues to be resolved eventually more or less

The thing that grinds my gears about Funcom is the habbit to implement broken content as if the game was still in beta.

Exactly. How long was this last update in beta and they still didnt fix gamebreaking bugs?

i have notice they will randomly choose where they will fulfill their needs. not all the time at least,

My point is. That part of the update is pointless. Nobody ive met and asked wanted thralls with human like characteristics. We shouldnt have to worry about an npc letting players into the base. Nor should we have to worry about rebuilding our bases to accodate said npcs.

I would prefer if we’re forced to have this at least give us options and ways to control it.
