Armor Plating on PS4 not Working no way to add it to Armor!?

The Armor Plating does not work on PS4, after I made the armor plating I scrolled on Icon no options to add, I then went back to armor’s bench and created new chess piece and putting armor plating in crafting table as I created, it still did not work! Please Help!!!

Hi, are you clicking on the armor plating while it’s in your inventory and then clicking on your un-equiped armor, both being in your inventory ? you can tell when you click on something , it will highlight in yellow. hope this helps

Also, if you have your inventory sorted by anything but custom, it won’t work.

And be sure your armor is repaird 100%
