Platform: Steam
Issue Type: Bazaar
Game Mode: Online Official
Server Type: PvP
Map: Exiled Lands
Server Name: Official Server #1935 - g-portal.com
Mods: =MODS=
Bug Description:
No items in the Bazaar Item Store are marked as purchased. This includes items I got through the Battle Pass and items that I purchased with Crom Coins. No items show in my Ancestral Knowledge either.
Bug Reproduction:
Logged onto my character on a official server after the Conan Exiles Enhanced update. When using the menu to check out the Bazaar, items that I know I had acquired are not marked as purchased. When checking Ancestral Knowledge, no knowledge is present.
As per this post - you now need to report bugs to the help-center, not here (for CEE bugs - Legacy bugs are still reported on the Forums) (yes, it’s confusing. hopefully they’ll notice the problems, but in the meantime stuff reported here for the UE5 version won’t get dealt with unless it’s reported there.)
Also got this bug and reported it on the “contact us”… Bazzar items, old Battle Pass content, and Twitch drops are all missing from the Ancestral Knowledge. I hope they fix this soon
I had to buy Crom coins and purchase a Bazaar item in order to use my “old” bazaar items. Otherwise they would say, “you’re not entitled to…”
I just found the cause of this issue on my end so maybe yours is the same, although I have ZERO idea on how to fix it and waiting for a reply to my bug report. While in-world it is showing me as offline, even though I am logged into Funcom, Steam is online, and I can still join servers. I even have the “offline” status while on official servers, which should not be possible
I figured out how to fix the “offline mode” even when in single player. This was causing none of my DLC or Bazaar items to be available at Artisan’s table.
I had to exit Steam entirely, as in ending the Steam.exe process by quitting the app and relaunching Steam again. Once I loaded back into Conan Exiles, the main menu screen no longer said offline and instead showed my username with a “Signed In” status. Now all my recipes are available when I’m in the game.
This also fixed my server settings from changing back to default every time I quit the game and reloaded. The past couple days, I would enable Full nudity and make a few other changes but when I quit and launched the game again, all the settings reverted back to default so I kept having to change them each time I logged in. Offline mode screwed all that up, so make sure you are signed in and not in offline mode.
Okay, one more thing. After some more testing, it did put me back in Offline mode again randomly it seems. However, this time my server settings and Bazaar recipes are all still working properly. Somehow, the game is having issues recognizing or at least displaying whether you are online or offline accurately but I’ve quit and relaunched the game several times now and my server settings and bazaar items are still working despite it still saying I’m offline. Only way to fix the offline status (temporarily at least) and make it show as Signed In is to exit steam entirely, then login to steam and launch Conan. It’s annoying, but I guess it’s fine as long as everything works. It may be a bug with the visual display for online status after you quit steam and relaunch.
