So make sure when you join a private server, that you research rewards given by admins for boosting the discord channels. In Game rewards for out of game work is not something i support. Meaning, if you boost the discord channel, you should not be rewarded with in game server loot on a PVP server. I see it as sort of a pay to win for the clan doing the out of game boosting of Admins egos. Also, i tend to stay off of servers that have a donation channel. It is hard to be impartial when money is involved. Even if they try really hard, money blurs parity on privates.
If you are okay with this, no problem. but Admins should be very up front with the player base of the server to avoid wasting ones valuable game time.
