Bug Description:
Cannot shift click items from Dyer’s or Thaumaturgy Bench slots
Bug Reproduction:
- Place armour in Dyer’s Bench Item to Dye slot or weapons/tools/armour in Thaumaturgy Bench Source Stats + Appearance.
- Craft Dye or Combine or attempt to remove if you change your mind
- Once item is crafted or you change your mind, Shift + Click the item as you can do in other benches/storage, nothing happens
- You may only double click or drag and drop to remove the item from the slot(s)
- If you attempt to double click the dyed item in the Dyer’s Bench, instead of going into inventory as expected and in the Thaumaturgy bench, it goes into the inventory of the Dyer’s Bench.
Here’s where I am attempting to Shift Click and right after I did a double click bringing item into bench inventory instead of player’s.
Bug Description:
Default dye or applied dye of source stats item overrides appearance item in Thaumaturgy bench.
Bug Reproduction:
- Dye or keep source stat armour colours - item 1
- Dye appearance armour to preferred colours - item 2
- Place item 1 in source stat slot in Thaumaturgy bench
- Place item 2 in appearance stat slot
- Craft Combine and equip item
- See that the item retained the item 1 colours
Here is where I demonstrate it.
It would be logical to assume that the appearance item is what you want both in physical as well as coloured appearance. Additionally, because some items cannot be dyed, this means that it if you illusion to something that can be dyed normally, it overrides any dyeing you’d done.
Bug Description:
No tool tip for type of dye while dyeing in Dyer’s Bench.
Bug Reproduction:
- Place armour in Dyer’s Bench slot Item to Dye and craft
- The Dyer’s Bench brings up the Preview and Dye screens
- In the Dye screen you are presented with all available dyes within the bench’s inventory
- Hovering over the thumbnail of any dye does not show the name of the respective dye, yet you are presented with these both in the bench’s Inventory and Crafting screens
Here you can see this.
This is important because the dyes are not as they seem and for anyone who might be colour blind or have any other vision issues, it can make the practice very frustrating.
Dyeing in general has always been wrought with colour issues. Some of the colours that are clearly bright, end up being muddied or the same as others on any material. While that probably deserves its own bug report and I am sure it has been brought up plenty, I believe that some of the colours are being transposed in the tables.
I’m combining these reports as they are interrelated.
These are pre-existing issues.
