Our clan on the official server 1726 built a big city on the ice at F11 on the lake. It’s been working fine for a month, and we log in and play in that city every day. Today, when I log in, the whole city is gone, and when I check the event log, it says all my building blocks suddenly lost stability. Does anyone know what is going on?

Is this PvE, or PvP? I am going to assume PvE…
Did the entire city collapse? Or only sections, or parts of the city? Was it possible that someone else on the server reported you or your clan for landclaim abuse?
How was your city supported? Were you only built upon the ice (which can be broken, depending on which parts of the ice)? Or did you sink pillars or foundations all the way down into the lake bed beneath?
Hey Cauthey! Yes, it’s on PVE. The entire city collapsed; only thralls and a few torches remained, floating up in the sky. Yes, our city is pretty huge. It’s on the ice on that lake at F11, but I don’t think the ice melting is causing the issue. Someone could have reported us, but I didn’t get any notification, and my other bases are fine. And we don’t think it’s the decay timer either since we login frequently.

Hey, Deacon. You play PvE. What does that look like in the logs if someone garners Zendesk attention? Would that show an “admin delete” in the event logs? Or would some parts of that log trail also show a loss of stability?
The suspension will come next server restart. Probably excess land claim. IF it’s a ban.

You can build here. There are plenty of spots along the ice in F11 that are valid build zones.
What I wanted to check was if the break-away ice would support structures. It apparently does not:

This is mostly what I wanted to check. To see if the game allowed buildings to be supported by the break away ice. And if that could cause a loss of stability. But even here - the block would not place on the break away ice alone. I had to anchor a tiny corner to the perma-ice.
How big was your city? I don’t really know how the “politics” of PvE work. But as I understand it - often times other players won’t even bother to interact with you about your real estate claim. “Hey neighbor! Mind reigning your land use in some?” ← from what I understand, this simply does not happen.
Instead, people will just wholesale report via Zendesk.
Do you have any enemies on the server? Any folks that have been openly antagonistic about the size of your build? You may wish to open your own Zendesk ticket, and inquire about what happened. That way, you may at least be able to get some information about what you did wrong. Though - again - experience has shown that these Zendesk admin tickets often just wipe, and never look back.

I’m sorry, but it says I am a new user and cannot upload an image. The event log just says something owned by our clan has lost stability, and there is a whole long list of them. However, other bases from our clan are good for now.

Hi, Deacon. I can still log in to server 1726. The city disappeared this morning. Will the ban come tomorrow? How will it work? I’ve never been banned before.
The ban comes after server restart. If you are in pc you should see how long and why.
All your clan members will be banned too.
Just a Tipp body vault your stuff you need for a restart. Or give it to a friend who is not in your clan. My ban two years ago was 5 days so I don’t lose anything but I heard that people get banned also one or two weeks. Don’t know what rules they have.
For me it looks the same. But I was online at the time this happens. We build a new base and wanted to move the old one. There were only foundations at the lake where you can find Braga. It was a second and everything disappeared. The first log said deleted by admin or something like this. It also was only this new base.
The next day we weren’t able to login anymore.
That was on Playstation. There was no message for the time and also why. But I think this is a Playstation issue. After a mail to zendesk they said 5 days and because of land claim.
Just wait until tomorrow. Hope you don’t lose your motivation and fun to restart after the ban ends. Or switch to a private server

Can I login to other servers or play single player game during the suspension time?
Our city appeared for 10 days, and we kept building our town during this time, but nothing happened. It was empty at first until recently.
Single player yes. Other official server no. Only private
Say if I open up a private server, can I build something like a huge city now? Without being banned?
In your singe player game or on your own private server you can do what you want. No one will ban you.
You play on pc so you have all the freedom to host your own server where ever you want. And there a nice mods so you have many extra building pieces and other cool stuff.
Maybe a pc player can give you better informations what’s the best way to host your own server.
