Blood decals on pets still dont go away after combat.
At least on my white tiger, they dont go away.
Not sure if on online server this behavior still happens, just tested on single player tonight.

Yes, i agree, this happen and in normal version and on testlive. Ever if they heal after a fight, the blood-splatters don’t go away.

This is a known issue from the live version of the game.
