Bug can't pick up building pieces even at full health. Ps4 update 2.8

Since update 2.8 i only have the option to destroy or cancel on my radial selection when trying to pick up building pieces

Steps to Reproduce:

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. Please be as detailed as possible; the more details, the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

1. Log into an offline server(with purchase of most recent dlc and update 2.8)
2. Try to pick up a building piece at full health
3. It wont work.

I have screenshots below. I’ve tried to fix it by re downloading my cloud saved offline data with no resolve.

Do you have the “no build cost” option selected in the admin panel?
I’ve found fewer items allow me to pick up when that is chosen.

Hi,

This could be linked to “No build cost”, or any combination of various admin commands. It seems to only affect single player mode.

Unfortunately it seems that the cloud save “workaround” only works if attempted prior to closing game after losing the pickup ability.

Nonetheless, the issue is known, and I’m sure they are working on it.

Unable to return 100% building pieces to inventory

Weird. I’ve opened topic on the same issue I can't pick up building pieces on my solo world and it’s still open and it didn’t get Report Recieved icon next to it like your does. Well, maybe your screen contains nemedian pieces. Yep, latest paid DLC, you are a customer and I’m not I own only base game lol

I think @LordKAA contacted @Community and got their attention. Don’t believe they would pass you by because you only have base game even if they new. Most of us started out that way.

I just wanna say that I think I solved issue with picking up building pieces. Basicly it’s more detailed lead that @LordKAA provided in his posts about cloud backup. More details on my topic here I can't pick up building pieces on my solo world Cheers!

Ok so I checked out the link, however staring a new offline single player mode in a custom game on the exile lands, and I still cant pick up any building pieces.

I just now started another game however selected the casual pre-set game mode and it now allows me to pick up the building pieces.

So the problem is: unable to pick up building pieces in an offline custom game mode

Ok so I started a new offline single player mode in a custom game on the exile lands map, and I still can’t pick up any building pieces. (I was playing with custom game settings since before the update)

Did you 1st deleted both data files before creating a new world?

Picking up building pieces feature made me finally finish shell of my main base. This is sucha relief. Progress with my base skyrocketed.
I’ve finally moved out of living in the open into my new home. I finally enabled Purges back but my main base is on Noob River so all efort to made it Purge proof went into nether as there’s no more Purges on Noob River omg
