[BUG] ServerVoiceChat Server Setting Not Working After VOIP Patch

Voice Chat is still running on private server even though its turned off in server settings

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Set serverVoiceChat setting to 0 in serversettings.ini
  2. Use voice chat
  3. Note that you can still use it and its still active

Could you try disabling this setting from the admin panel and see if it is still refusing to be disabled?

Unfortunately we have server settings that is carefully tuned to bypass several other bugs. So on every restart I copy in a serversettings file to overwrite all the write-backs that the game does. As soon as you touch the settings screen the game will round values on day/night cycle, idle thirst and hunger, etc… So I can’t do that on the live server.
